The Jibrin Isah Campaign Organisation has expressed dismay over the statement? credited to the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof. Attahiru Jega on the political logjam in Kogi State.
The Director, Public Communication and Strategy of the organization,Mr. Phrank Shaibu, who stated this in a statement made available to LEADERSHIP yesterday, said? rather than seeking the correct interpretation of the apex court’s verdict in a competent court of law, Professor? Jega? arrogated to himself the powers of the judiciary, by directing?? that Captain Idris Wada be sworn in immediately, as the governor of Kogi State.
He pointed out that by the statement, Jega had confirmed to Nigerians and the international community,? that he was an apologist of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).
