The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN)? yesterday directed? owners of abandoned and unserviceable aircraft in all the nation’s airports to remove them? within 30 days? or face sanctions.
The latest directive of? the aAuthority is? in line with its? enabling statues and bye-laws.
The Managing Director of FAAN, Mr. George Uriesi, said in Lagos that “the abandoned aircraft pose potential safety hazard to airport operations and have over the years constituted an eyesore at our airports.”
