Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson has announced the setting up of an 11-man Financial Management Committee led by the Former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Mr.Timi Alaibe. The committee is expected to offer advice on proposed fiscal policies, revenue generation and allocation of resources of the State.
Also appointed as Special Advisers to the Governor are the Former Minister of Science and Technology, Professor T.T.Isoun, the former governorship aspirant and Chief Executive Officer of the Silverbird Television, Mr. Ben Murray Bruce, a politician and close friend to President Goodluck Jonathan, King Amalete Jonny Turner and three others.
In a related Development, Governor Seriake Dickson also approved the appointment of a new General Manager for the State-owned Television station, Glory land TV, Mr. Tamarakuro Oweifie. The appointment takes immediate effect.
