Governor Wada Solicits Labour’s Support

Governor Idris Wada of Kogi State has stressed the need for good working relationship between civil servants and the state government.

Captain Wada stated this in Lokoja? weekend while receiving in his office, executive members of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), led by its chairman, Comrade James Odaudu, on a courtesy visit.

He called on the organised labour in the state to consider themselves as part of his administration, and expressed the commitment of the present administration to the welfare of workers.

He further promised to carry everybody along in the scheme of things, even as he assured that he would run an open and transparent government.

According to him, his government would welcome any constructive criticism that would propel the state to greater heights.

He assured the labour leaders that their requests would be looked into as soon as he settles down in office, and promised to speedily transform the state, by fulfilling all his campaign promises.

The state chairman of NLC, Comrade James Odaudu, had earlier in a remark, pledged the support and loyalty of workers to the present government.
