The media officer of Heartland FC, Cajetan Nkwopara, has boasted that his team is ready to crush any team that comes their way, believing that the players of the team have bounced back to form with injured ones back in action.
Heartland FC who had been floundering since the begining of this season; they were 13th on the log of the Nigeria Premier League but rose to 9th after two consecutive wins.
Nkwopara, who spoke to LEADERSHIP SPORTS on phone, said that the team has been reinvigorated, a move aimed to bolster their confidence of lifting the league trophy. “Our players are quickly bouncing back to form and the injured ones have virtually returned to action. This development is really boosting our confidence of winning the league,” he said.
Heartland, who will be visiting Gombe United tomorrow have vowed to give the host team a tough fight. Also, Nkwopara said that his team will always put up a spectacular performance irrespective of the match venue.
“We are ready for Gombe United. Our team will definitely give them a tough fight irrespective of where we are playing the match. We can’t afford to lose again,” he boasted.
