Three weeks after the traditional rulers in Edo South Senatorial district assured Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole of their support and prayers for his re-election bid,? the traditional rulers in Edo Central Senatorial district have followed suit by assuring the Governor of their full support for him to? complete the development projects he started in the state.
Drawn from Igueben, Esan West and Esan Central Local Governments, the royal fathers who spoke one after the other said although they are not members of any political party, but as the traditional rulers of their areas, they would always support the growth and development of their communities as championed by the Governor.
The Enogie of Ebelle, who kick started the endorsements during their visit to the Governor, weekend, said, “We are supporting your government for another term because we want your government to do more. We are supporting your government between now and the next dispensation.”
On his part, the Enogie of Ekpoma, HRH Anthony Abumere II, said, “I want to say that the Governor is doing very well. I mentioned it sometime ago at Igueben that what is called democracy is what is happening in Edo State. This is what everybody needs, this is what Nigeria needs. I said it that time and will continue to say it. Every right-thinking Edo man will know you are on the right track. I support your administration and will continue to support you.”
