According to The Sun newspaper, the 24-year-old star had been for a swim at her hotel and used its steam room and sauna before disaster struck. A source said: “When she got out, her hair was tangled and matted. She slapped a load of conditioner on but it didn't get through the mass.”?

With a TV appearance on 'The Jonathan Ross Show' scheduled for the next day, Rihanna decided that stylist Ursula Stephen was the only woman for the job. The insider added: “She didn't want to take the chance on an unknown. “Because they were on such a tight schedule, they had to get her on the first flight.
