Former coach of Ethiopia and Namibia Tom Saintfiet Thursday ?afternoon arrived the office of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) ?for a meeting over the post of technical director.

Saintfiet is top favourite for the job as he is the only man short listed for the position.

The technical committee headed by Chris Green are expected to interview the 38-year-old Belgian coach before they make their final recommendations to the executive committee of the NFF, who will meet next week to announce several appointments.?

Also in Abuja for interviews are former Shooting Stars coach Fatai Amoo, who is favoured to be named the new Flying Eagles coach, and Kadiri Ikhana, who has been lined up to take over the country’s female team, the Super Falcons.?

A top NFF official told MTNFootball.com: “We are discussing with him (Ikhana) and we will see how it goes.”?

Meanwhile, CAF and FIFA technical instructor Adeboye Onigbinde has rejoined the NFF technical committee after earlier pulling out.?

He was locked in a meeting for about an hour with NFF president Aminu Maigari before the technical committee meeting began. ? ?Members of the committee present include former internationals Garba Lawal, Victor Ikpeba as well as former Eagles coach Christian Chukwu.?
