Dare-devil armed robbers, yesterday, resumed their gruesome operation in Ekpoma, Edo State after some break, killing one person and carting away undisclosed huge sum of money.
The robbers, numbering about 10, attacked two commercial bank for about 30 minutes.
Besides shattering the peace and security that had existed in the town for some time now, it exposed the incapability of the men of Operation Thunder Storm, made up of soldiers and police officers to deal with security situation of that nature in the university town.
The robbers stormed the banks few meters from each other, with sophisticated weapons, shooting sporadically, causing residents to scamper for safety in terror.
