Unknown gunmen on Friday, shot dead Alhaji Mohammed Alli, a prominent leader of the Shiites group in Kano State.
LEADERSHIP gathered that the men stormed the late Alli’s house along Gadan kaya area of Kano, to demand for motorbikes for their operation, but the Shiites topmost leader turned down their request.
As an argument ensued, the armed men opened fire on him. All efforts by sympathisers to resuscitate him failed.
The remains of the Shiite's leader has been deposited at the Murtala Mohammed Hospital.
