Help Me Curb Terrorism, Jonathan Tells Nigerians

President Goodluck Jonathan has urged Nigerians to assist him and security agents in the country to curb terrorism across the nation.

He also tasked the citizens in nation building and urged them to be vigilant in order to assist the law enforcement agents to put criminal activities under control.

President Jonathan made the call yesterday in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State at the foundation laying ceremony of the federal secretariat in the state.

In a related development, the federal government has struck a military deal with no fewer than 17 countries in its bid to contain the menace of terrorism occasioned by the criminal activities of a terror group in the country.

This was disclosed yesterday in Abuja by the Minister of Defence, Dr. Bello Haliru Mohammed while speaking at the on-going ministerial platform organised to commemorate the one year administration of President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan.
