Etsu Nupe Condoles With Families Of Dana Crash Victims

The Estu Nupe and Chairman, Niger state Council of Traditional Rulers Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar has described the recent Dana plane crash as a monumental loss to Nigeria.

?The traditional ruler who spoke yesterday in Bida urged the federal government to adopt measures aimed at monitoring the operations of airlines in the country to avoid future occurrence.

?He said that the loss of the crash would be felt by all Nigerians as it was not just that of the immediate family of those who died but the entire nation.

?According to him, the incident was regrettable, as it was depressing to the nation and the people who lost their loved ones in the crash.

?“Nothing can totally remove the pain of the loss of the loved ones since most of them are sources of inspiration to their families and indeed, the people of this country, but we should take solace and believe that most of them have lived a life aimed at uplifting humanity, I pray that God repose their souls,” the Etsu Nupe stated.

?The Traditional ruler therefore expressed his condolence to the families of those who lost their lives in the Dana plane crash and President Goodluck Jonathan for the loss.

?The Estu called for prayers from all religious leaders for the prevention against the recurrence of such unfortunate calamity in the country.

“With sustained prayers by our religious leaders, God will help us to prevent further calamity, and for the country to move forward,” he said.
