Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) says?it has restored electricity to Iju-Ishaga area of Lagos where a Dana plane crashed.
Mr Gabriel Ezeokoli, PHCN Business Manager in Abule-Egba, disclosed this to the News Agency of Nigeria??????????? (NAN) on Thursday in Lagos.
Ezeokoli said that gradual?restoration of?electricity to the area started?on June 14.
“We have almost completed the installation all damaged poles and cables in the area. Supply of power to the area has commenced?since June 14,” he said.
The business manager said that?replacement of all damaged facilities in the affected area would be done at no cost to the community.
NAN reports that the area has been without electricity since June 3, when the Dana plane crashed and destroyed homes, including electricity installations. (NAN)
