Osun State Governor Rauf Aregbesola has urged Nigerians to? strive hard to stop the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in the coming polls in order to galvanise again the wheel of progress, growth and development of the nation.
??? Governor Aregbesola, who made the comment? yesterday at the 7th National Convention of the National Conscience Party (NCP) with the theme: “People’s Democracy: A Need For Genuine Participation, held at the Leisure Spring Hotel, Osogbo, said the party had turned itself into a monster since it assumed power in 1999.
He lamented that the PDP government had bastardised and destroyed the good and viable system put in place in the country in 1999.
The governor further used the opportunity to welcome the party’s delegates to the convention, and urged them to work hard in their various states to join hands with progressive allies to salvage the nation from the under-development imposed on the country by the PDP’s administration.
Aregbesola? also commended the leadership of the party for supporting his government during the struggle to reclaim his mandate and since assumption of office in November 27,2010.
