Mrs Nompumelelo Zuma, wife of South Africa’s President Jacob Zuma, arrived Yenagoa on Friday for a two-day working visit.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Zuma arrived the Bayelsa Government House at about 6 p.m. on a helicopter marked 5N-VIP.
She was received by Gov. Seriake Dickson accompanied by his wife Rachael, the state deputy governor, retired Rear Admiral John Jonah, top government officials and some women’s groups.
?Zuma, who was treated to a brief ceremony at the helipad, later drove in a motorcade with the governor’s entourage to the Gloryland Castle of the Government House for a private audience.
She is expected to visit the pet project of the governor’s wife, “The Bayelsa Girl-child and I’’ on Saturday.
