Missing Baby Brought To Gwagwalada Police Station

The police in Gwagwalada, Abuja, on Tuesday, said that a missing baby boy of about a year was found at Gwako, FCT, and brought to the Gwagwalada Police Station.

The boy was said to be found crying along the roadside in Gwako on July 25.

Madam Hussaina Musa, a police officer at the police station, said the baby was brought to the station by a motorcyclist who gave his name as David.

Musa said nobody had come to claim the child, who could not say his name nor that of his parents.

She said the police had gone round the area to seek for the parents of the child but to no avail.

“We have gone round Gwako area seeking for the parents of the child but we could not find them. We had no choice than to bring him back to the station.''

The officer said that the police had been taking care of the boy.

Meanwhile, a News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) correspondent reports that the boy was playing around the station premises. (NAN)
