The Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) would today commence its annual general conference with not less than 15, 000 lawyers expected to be in attendance.
In a press statement signed by NBA Information Officer, Nneoma Anieto, she said that President Goodluck Jonathan was expected to be at the ceremony.
Also expected in the opening ceremony are the President of Senate, Senator David Mark, Speaker of House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal and the Attorney-General of the Federation and the Minister of Justice, Mohammed Bello Adoke (SAN).
Anieto, however, urged accredited journalists and conferees to be seated latest by 8.30 am, as President Jonathan is expected to be at the ceremony.
The NBA conference which was billed to start yesterday would end on August 31 with the inauguration of the newly elected executives that would run the affairs of the association for the next two years.
?NBA has equally described the conference as “the largest gathering of lawyers anywhere in the world; one of the biggest Annual Conferences in the Country.’’
