A group under the aegis of Arewa Youth Coalition (AYC) has condemned in strong terms the recent media attack on the Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah, just as it said that such attack was uncalled for.
A statement signed and made available to LEADERSHIP by the chairman and women leader, Mohammed Sani and Maryam Shehu, scored the minister high with her development strides in the aviation sector.
According to the statement, “From our findings, the Minister of Aviation has not stopped any airline from flying into the north. In fact, investigation has revealed that Emirates Airline and others quoted in malicious reports have not started flying Abuja route.”
The statement further said Princess Oduah had embarked on laudable projects at airports across the north since she assumed office as the Minister of Aviation.
It noted that out the 11 airports undergoing remodeling and reconstruction, “five are from the north; namely Kano, Kaduna, Jos, Yola and Abuja, leaving the rest parts of the country with six.
