Rainstorm Kills CPC’s Legal Adviser In Niger

A huge tree uprooted by a rainstorm crushed the car being driven by the legal adviser to the Niger State chapter? of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Barrister Joseph Kolo, killing him at once.

LEADERSHIP gathered that the legal adviser was driving home in his car in the rain when all of a sudden the tree fell on his car.
It was learnt that Kolo was calling his wife on phone when he was driving towards his house, just before the incident.

Immediately after the incident, his wife was said to have rushed to the scene wailing which attracted people from a nearby car shop, but they were? helpless as the tree was too heavy.

The people immediately sought the services of a machine saw operator who cut a section of the tree off to enable them to recover the corpse that was later deposited at Minna General Hospital mortuary.
