All is now set for the public presentation of Blueprint newspaper today.
The event scheduled to take place at the Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre is billed to mark the first anniversary of the newspaper which hit the street as a daily publication on September 19, 2011.
The event with the theme, ‘The challenges of Growth and Development,’ has former military President General Ibrahim Babangida as Special Guest Speaker, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal will be Special Guest of Honour while former Vice President Alex Ekwueme is chairman of the occasion.
A press statement issued by the Chairman of the Publicity Committee of the event, Mr. Amos Dunia, stated that 11 state governors had given their approval to serve as special guests who will also present the newspaper at the occasion.
The governors include Barr. Ibrahim Shehu Shema (Katsina), Dr Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu (Niger), Capt Idris Wada (Kogi), Sir Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa (Kaduna), Chief Godswill Akpabio (Akwa Ibom) and Malam Isa Yuguda (Bauchi), Alhaji Sule Lamido (Jigawa), Alhaji Tanko Al-Makura (Nasarawa), Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed (Kwara), Engr Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso (Kano) and Alhaji Kashim Shettima (Borno).
