Nadal To Retire In 2016 Olympics

11-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal is expecting to retire from the professional tennis career at the Rio Olympic Games 2016 says a report. The 26-year-old Rafael Nadal, who was struggling with knee injury from past years, said he is expecting to end his tennis career at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games at the age of 30. The Spaniard said he has been working over his fitness along with his physio, but not sure play in Davis Cup final and ATP World Tour Championship finals next month.

World No. 4 Rafael Nadal has posted a picture on Facebook wall that, he was continuing with recovery sessions at home and hopes to come back soon on court for training sessions. The King of Clay Nadal has not confirmed to take part in the upcoming ATP World Tour Championship final in London.

Nadal said he has been facing lot of knee problems over the years and looking to end his career at the 2016 Rio Olympics Games, where he wants to carry on his national flag. He added it’s amazing to carry on national flag at Olympics and a dream for every athlete.
