Men of the Rivers State Police Command and the Anti-kidnapping Unit (AKU) of 2 Amphibious Brigade, Nigerian Army, Port Harcourt, in early hours of yesterday, killed seven suspected members of a criminal gang that specialises in kidnapping and armed robbery in the state.
The police also arrested four other members of the gang, including two ladies, who sustained gunshot injuries during a shootout between members of the gang and policemen at their hideout in Kaani community in Khana Local Government Area of the state.
