Unknown gunmen yesterday shot and killed three people in Hotoro, Kano State, the BBC Hausa Service has said.
According to BBC Hausa service, the shooting, which left the victims dead, took place yesterday morning.
The police in Kano have confirmed the incident, adding that it involved the Dantata and Sawoe company workers.
Kano State, like Borno and Yobe states, has witnessed series of attacks by gunmen suspected to be Boko Haram insurgents.
However, the sect is yet claim responsibility for the attack .
