President Jacob Zuma of South Africa has congratulated President Ernest Bai Koroma of Sierra Leone on his re-election.
Zuma in a statement on Tuesday commended the people of Sierra Leone for their enthusiasm and their turnout to exercise for their franchise during the election.
He called on the people of Sierra Leone to maintain peace while?waiting for the National Electoral Commission to finalise its work
and announce the results of the Legislative Elections.
Zuma assured President Koroma of the support and solidarity of people of South Africa as he continues with the task of rebuilding the nation after years of conflict. (NAN)
