‘How Our Bread Winners, Sons, Were Killed By Soldiers’

Families of the six Ijaw youths allegedly killed by soldiers last year along the waterways of Agge Community in Ekeremor Local Government area of Bayelsa State yesterday appeared before the Military Panel, declaring that the youths were murdered in a jungle style.

The deceased families, according sources at the Panel sitting at the Efurrun Barrack of the Military Task Force headed by Captain I. A.Suleiman, was led by the Ijaw People Development Initiative (IPDI) coordinator, Comrade Ozobo Austin and its layer, Mr. Omes Ogedengbe.

The two wives and six kids of one of the deceased youths appeared before the panel and told the panel that they saw how soldiers stopped the boats conveying the deceased and others.
