Oritsejafor Asks Youths To Shun Fanatical Clerics

As the present insecurity in the country posed by the Islamic Sect, Boko Haram continues unabated, the President, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor has urged Nigerian Christians and Muslim youths to resist overtures from fanatical clerics and politicians who may want to work on their psyche with a view to engaging them in acts that are detrimental to the peace of the country.

This is coming even as a Muslim group under the auspices of Amir of Amah Youth, a coalition of Muslims Forum urged the man of God not to be partial in the process of coming? up with practical solutions that would help to end the crisis

Oritsejafor who spoke in Warri, Delta State, Friday evening while receiving the group who visited him on a peace mission to the Word of Life Bible Church, said that the spate of violence that had engulfed the nation in recent time would be reduced if the youths could resist being used as tools in the hands of clerics who had other motives other than propagating the word of God.

He said, “You are the future, you are the face of Nigeria, and you are the Nigeria that we are looking for.”
