Oyedepo Urges Nigeria To Remain Steadfast In God

Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), has urged Nigerians to pray for God’s intervention to restore peace and change the mind of leaders.

At the annual Winners Chapel convention, Shiloh 2012, titled “Double Portion’’ at Canaan Land, in Ota-Lagos, Oyedepo, expressed the hope that the prayers would heal the nations concerned.

He said there was no situation that could not be saved by God and called on Christians to unite in prayers to enable them to overcome the challenges confronting their faith.

“We will pray for God’s intervention in the countries in conflicts; for God to restore peace and change the mind of the leaders,” he said.

?He urged Nigerians to watch out for where God would lead Africa.

The aim of the convention is to bring everybody from all walks of life together and pray against the unrest in some of the countries in the world.

The cleric, who took the day’s lessons from Isaiah 61:3-6, said Christians had the ability to cause changes in their environment and urged them to take advantage of such opportunities.

He advised Nigerians to remain steadfast, adding that there is a better future for the nation. (NAN)
