Immigration Deports 100 Illegal Foreigners In Kebbi

The Nigerian Immigration Service in Kebbi has deported 100 illegal foreigners in the past one week, the Controller of Immigration in the state, Mr Sule Momoh has said.

Momoh told newsmen in Birnin Kebbi on Monday that the aliens had no legal entry permits while others possessed expired documents.

He said the aliens had established night routes through which they entered the state, stressing that the deportation exercise would be on a regular basis.

Momoh advised those wishing to engage people to seek advice from the Service to avoid harbouring people with questionable characters.

?He said the deported foreigners would be handed over to the border immigration authorities of their countries.

However, some restaurants that had? relied on the employment of foreign nationals who were mostly women have now resorted to employing Nigerians.
