OBJ, IBB Embarrass Nigeria – Gov Lamido

Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido has described the recent war of words between two former Nigerian heads of state/presidents, General Olusegun Obasanjo and General Ibrahim Babbangida as an unprecedented embarrassment the country has ever been exposed to.

He said the two former presidents have no any moral right to engage in such act as all of them symbolised the history, culture, dignity and country respect.

The Governor made this assertion while speaking at Ramadan Fasting breaking with Journalist in Dutse state capital, added that, “the way they publically engaged in abusing each others is amount to delink the country from civilized nations”.

“The two former presidents were glorified by the nation, as they were given privileges to occupy the apex office in the country, but unfortunately now they are behaving in away that are tantamount to relegate the country to a laughing stalk in the global eyes”.

“It is frightening for the country presidential office to be turn in to office of comedy, so what notion of hope and type of leadership we are inspire to our incoming young generation” Lamido lamented.

Alhaji Sule Lamido added that, the two former head of state were also product of military industry where the culture of respect, disciplined is embodiment of the institution, but now coming out and behaving in a manner that shows self disrespect to their social status and school of discipline.
