Following the withdrawal of charges against some of the accused persons and multinational company arraigned along with the former Minister of Works, Dr. Hassan Lawal, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is set to file amended charge to accommodate the change.
Lawal is standing multiple trials before Justice Adamu Bello of a Federal High Court in Abuja for allegedly conspiring with some persons and firms to defraud the federal government to the tune of N75 billion.
