Justice Mohammed To Be Flown Abroad For Medicare

The Judge of Shari’ah Court of Appeal, Ilorin, Justice Solihu Mohammed, who was attacked last week by unknown gunmen, will be flown abroad today for further medical attention.

LEADERSHIP investigation indicated that the recuperating judge left Ilorin on Monday evening for Abuja where his visa was being processed.

He was flown to Abuja by a chattered aircraft said to have been provided by a top notcher of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

He was accompanied to Abuja by his wife, Iyabo? and his son, Sulaiman.?

The Chief Registrar of the Shariah Court of Appeal, Ilorin, Alhaji Abdulateef Kamaldeen confirmed the development to LEADERSHIP in Ilorin
yesterday.

He said that Kwara State government was? sponsoring Justice Mohammed’s? medical trip and disclosed that his condition was stable as at the time he left Ilorin on Monday.

Further investigation by LEADERSHIP indicated that the son, Barrister Sulaiman and an Abuja based medical doctor simply identified, as Dr Dan Fulani would accompany Mohammed abroad today.
