Duke Decries Abandonment Of Tinapa

Former governor of Cross River State, Mr. Donald Duke has decried the poor patronage at the Tinapa and said that he was not happy with what happened to the legacy he bequeathed to the succeeding administration.

He lamented that Tinapa and the Monorail project have not been pursued with the verve with which his administration envisioned them.

Duke? said, “I am absolutely unhappy that the projects my administration started and sunk in huge sums of money are being allowed to rot.”

The former governor who was answering questions from newsmen at the Obong of Calabar’s palace when he graced the conferment of traditional title awards to four distinguished Nigerians, including the former minister of lands and housing, Hon. Nduese Essien, former attorney general and commissioner of justice in Rivers State, Chief Adokie Amiesimaka and treasurer of PDP, Olorogun Michael Makinde as well as an oil magnate Dr George Okon Onyung.
