Senate President, David Mark will lead royal fathers from his state to grace a thanksgiving ceremony in Imo State slated for December 18, 2011, in honour of Uzodinma’s victory ceremony at the Holy Trinity Cathedral Church, Omuma, Imo State.???
Uzodimma who represents Imo West Senatorial District (Orlu Zone) in the Senate and chairman, Senate Committee on Aviation, is said to have organised the event to give thanks to God for His grace and steadfastness, especially during his legal tussle for the senatorial seat.
According to sources, the event would be preceded by the conferment of a chieftaincy title on the Senate President, David Mark, by the South Eastern Council of Traditional Rulers.
Similarly, traditional rulers from the North Central Zone, especially, the Tor Tiv and the Och’Idoma are expected to accompany the Senate President to add colour to the event.
The church service billed for 10 am would be led by the Catholic Arch Bishop of Orlu Ecclesiastical Province, Arch Bishop Anthony Obinna, and would be supported by Bishops Gregory Ochiagha and Augustine Okwuoma, both of the Catholic Church, Orlu.
