Kaduna State government yesterday broke its silence over the alleged spending of N300 million weekly on security maintenance which has caused controversy in the state.
The government said, “though government has been spending a lot on ensuring security, the amount being quoted is certainly incorrect.”
The Principal Private Secretary (PPS) to the state governor, Mr. Yohanna Allahmagani, had one week ago disclosed that the state government was spending about N300m weekly to maintain security personnel deployed to keep peace in the state.
