Guber 2012: CAP Denies Receiving Sylva’s N500m

The ?Change Advocacy Party (CAP) yesterday described as untrue the claims by some politicians in the state that the incumbent Governor, Chief Timipre Sylva gave the party the sum of N500million to strengthen it and ensure its victory over the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2012 Governorship poll in the state.

Some politicians suspected to be in support of the candidature of Hon. Seriake Dickson, as the flag bearer of the PDP in the state, weekend accused the State Governor, Chief Timipre Sylva of alleged anti-party activity and claimed that he is sponsoring CAP against the PDP in the state.

In their claims, the politicians alleged that a sum of N500million has so far been released to the CAP governorship flag bearer, Dr. Imuro Kubor and that the immediate past Head of Service, Rev. Oworibo was handed to CAP as running mate to secure the link between Governor Timipre Sylva and the CAP Leadership.
