Wife Of Acting IG Of Police Is Dead

Maryam Abubakar, the wife of the acting Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar, is dead.

She died on Monday morning, after a brief illness at a hospital in Kano.

She was buried according to Muslim rites this afternoon.
