Lawmakers at the Delta State House of Assembly have appealed to the State Commissioner of Police, Mamman Ibrahim Tsafe and Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan to look into the clash between? herdsmen and? Ohor and Agdamam communities, Ughelli North Local Government Area of the state with a view to preventing breakdown of law and orders.
At the plenary sitting on Tuesday, member representing Ughelli North Constituency, Hon. Rufus Akpondiete, said the unwholesome activities of the herdsmen had been causing security breach in the area.
His motion under public importance was supported by Hon (Mrs.) Amaeachi Mrakpor who averred that urgent attention was needed to arrest the situation before it gets out of hands.
