The Director-General, Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Prof. Sambo Wapmut, has said the agency has mapped out strategies aimed at facilitating President Goodluck Jonathan’s economic transformation agenda.
Wapmut disclosed this while addressing participants of Senior Executive Course (SEC) 34 of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) who paid him a visit in his office in Jos yesterday.
According to him,? “With the amendment of the Act establishing the Fund by the National Assembly and its subsequent passage to law by President Goodluck Jonathan, ITF has been repositioned to take its leading position in driving the economy of the country.”
He said that the amended? Act would go a long way towards improving? funding for ITF and this will translate into effective human capital development.
