Governor Aliyu’s Commissioner Of Economic Planning Is Dead

Niger State has been thrown into grief as the state government lost its, Commissioner of Budget and Economic Planning, Alhaji Aminu Yusuf Paiko, who also doubled as the Chairman of the state planning Commission. He was 52 years old until his death.

LEADERSHIP SUNDAY gathered that Aminu died in the early hours of yesterday in India where he went for Medical treatment for an undisclosed sickness. He was reportedly treated and discharged on Wednesday before his death.

A family source told LEADERSHIP SUNDAY that he would have returned same day but had decided to stay behind to ensure that he fully recovered before embarking on the journey back home before his death.

The Governor of Niger State, Dr. Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu has paid tribute to the late Commissioner? saying he was an epitome of good leadership and party loyalty.

According to the Governor in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Malam Danladi Ndayebo, the Commissioner lived a purposeful life by touching the lives of the less privileged.
