Easter: FCT Minister Urges Residents To Spread The Gospel Of Love

FCT Minister Bala Mohammed has urged residents of the territory to spread the gospel of love and peaceful co-existence as they join Christians to observe Easter celebration.

In a statement issued by the chief press secretary to the minister, Malam Muhammad Sule, in Abuja on Friday, Mohammed advised the residents to rededicate themselves to the service of God and humanity to make the world a better place.

The minister expressed gratitude to God for the privilege and mercy granted to non- Christians to join Christians to celebrate the season in an atmosphere of peace.

He appealed to the residents to continue to be their brother’s keeper irrespective of their religious belief, adding that “the best in the sight of God is the most pious.”

The minister advised the residents to make supplications to God for the well- being of Nigerians and their leaders, considering the current security challenges in the country.

He appealed to residents to be committed to giving selfless service to the nation to ensure its growth and development.

Mohammed advised residents to be security-conscious and report any suspicious movement to law-enforcement agents as security is everybody’s business.
