Kebbi State Governor Saidu Dakingari has threatened to sanction any contractor in the state who fails to live up to contractual agreements.
The governor disclosed this during? an inspection tour of some road projects in the state.
He was responding to complaints lodged to him on the slow pace of work going on in some roads across the state, specifically the road linking Lani-Kambogu-Kende, where he directed the contractor handling the contract to hasten the completion to enable the communities utilize the road.
He also assured the people of Jega and Koko that his government would construct more roads in their areas as promised during his campaign.
