Futsal Eagles Departs For Cairo

The Futsal National Team, otherwise known as Futsal Eagles, will today fly out of Nigeria to Cairo, for their FIFA Futsal World Cup African final qualifying fixture against Egypt.

For the past week, Head Coach Oladunni Oyekale and the crew have been working hard on the players inside the Gymnasium of the National Institute for Sports, National Stadium, Lagos, with the sole objective of overcoming the perennial African champions in this fixture.?

Oyekale has now picked 12 players who will on Friday night file out with plenty of confidence against the Egyptians in the first leg encounter.?

Included in the final cut are: Ike Uche (McJeff FC), Okafor Chukwuebuka Solomon (Enugu), Nosiru Kabiru Ishola (Bolowotan FC), Madu Francis Chidindu (Bayelsa United), Israel Banigo (McJeff FC), Huoseni Oladimeji Hakeem (Shino Soccer FC), Jejelola Olaniyi Rilwan (Fame FC), Oche Taiwo Matthew (Union Bank FC), Prosper Edewor (Bendel Insurance FC), Sylvester Francis (Sharks FC), Sani Madu Mohammed (Gombe United FC), Ibe Michael Okoro (Yobo FC).

The return leg comes up at the Gymnasium of the National Institute for Sports, National Stadium, Lagos on Sunday, June 24.?
