The Enugu State Police Command says it has arrested three suspected car snatchers terrorising Abakpa Layout in Enugu.
Mr Ebere Amaraizu, the command’s Public Relations Officer, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday that men of the Abakpa police division arrested one of the suspects on Aug. 13 at Harmony Estate in Abakpa.
He said the suspect was arrested with a Honda pilot jeep with registration number KJA 534 AE, suspected to have been snatched from its owner at Achara Layout in Enugu.
The spokesman said that following interrogation, he confessed to the crime and led the police to two of his accomplices.
Amaraizu said the suspects were already helping the police in their investigation. (NAN)
