22 Vessels To Discharge Fuel In Lagos Ports

Twenty-two ships are waiting to discharge petroleum products at the various oil terminals within the Lagos Ports, the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has said.

The Shipping Position, a daily publication of NPA, indicated on Friday that 14 of the ships would discharge petrol, while three would discharge diesel and three would discharge kerosene.

The document said that a ship would discharge aviation fuel, while another one would discharge ethanol.

It added that three other ships would discharge rice and bulk wheat.

The publication also said that 70 ships, carrying different cargoes, would sail into the ports between Feb. 1 and Feb. 28.

It said 10 of them would arrive with petroleum products and 45 with containers.

Others will sail in with sugar, general cargoes, bulk wheat, tugboats, new and used vehicles, fish, bulk malt, steel products and truck heads. (NAN)
