The Federal government will tomorrow, inaugurate the national traffic camera surveillance and safety certification committee to check all kinds of accidents.
The committee which is a public-private sector partnership between the government and the Risk and Accident Prevention Society of Nigeria, RAPSON, would implement the national traffic camera surveillance and safety certification scheme launched in 2009.
The chairman of RAPSON, Engr. Ben Koko Odohofre who made the disclosure weekend while briefing the media, said members of the committee would comprise officials of the SSS, police, FRSC, VIO, NURTW and the ministries of Works, Justice and Transport.
