Last Tuesday’s date will remain indelible in the life of Africa’s pop icon, 2Face Idibia as he rubbed shoulder with America’s popular comical Tv host and actress, Mo’Nique, on her self-titled show.

Apart from being part of the interviewees, 2Baba had the opportunity to strut his stuff, performing his famous hit – African Queen live on the show, backed by Monique’s band. The interview took place at the Turner studios in Atlanta, USA.

Mo’Nique’s first exposure to 2face was perhaps via his song, African Queen, which was used as sound track for Phat Girlz, directed by Nnegest Likké in 2006. Here, Mo’Nique played lead role as a plus size lady struggling for love and acceptance in a country filled with slim hot-bodies.
