Pastor Enoch Adeboye, the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian? Church of God (RCCG)? on Saturday in Osogbo held a prayer session for the stability of the country.
In his sermon at the forum, Adeboye charged residents of the state to? remember the teachings of Jesus Christ in marking the Yuletide.
Adeboye, who? prayed for stability? in? the country and the state, urged participants gathered at the forum to give their lives to Christ.
Osun Province 1 Assistant Pastor, Mr Lekan Ayodele, told? newsmen on the sidelines of the event that the visit of? Adeboye to the state? signified the importance of? Christmas.
Ayodele said that the prayers of? Adeboye would bring a positive turn-around to the country and the state.
He advised Christians to remain firm in the worship of God? and to remember the second coming of? Christ? as they? celebrated?? Christmas.
Gov. Rauf? Aregbesola of Osun and his Chief of Staff, Mr Gboyega Oyetola, were among? dignitaries who? came to the stadium with Adeboye.
