Mr Miri Mamtur, the Registrar of the FCT High Court, Maitama, Abuja, is dead.
One of his colleagues, Mr Vincent Ifeachor, who confirmed the death to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Abuja, said that Mamtur, 48, died at the National Hospital, Abuja, on Monday
Ifeachor said Mamtur, who was a senior registrar, served for 27 years and worked under three Justices.
“Mamtur had distinguished qualities that set him apart from his peers – simplicity and dedication to duty without expecting any reward,’’ Ifeachor said.
Mr Shahibu Yunusa, another colleague, said “I have lost a friend and a good man’’.
NAN reports that Mamtur last served with Justice Hussaini Baba of the FCT High Court, Maitama.
He hailed from Nache Gazum in Langtang North Local Government Area of Plateau.
