Baku 2012: Nigeria top group despite Colombian scare

Halimatu Ayinde scored her second brace of Azerbaijan 2012 as Nigeria U-17 women's team finished top of Group A following a 3-0 victory over Colombia, a result that sends the South Americans home from the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup in Baku, Azerbaijan.

Nigeria registered a demoralising 11-0 victory over FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup hosts Azerbiajan, seeing them eliminated, with Chinwendu Ihezuo playing a part in eight of them.

FIFA U-17WWC: Canada held Nigeria Flamingoes to a 1-1 draw
